APPROVED FOR CALENDARING SENATE BILL NO. 53 "An Act extending the termination date of the Board of Barbers and Hairdressers." APPROVED FOR CALENDARING PREVIOUS COMMITTEE ACTION SJR 7 - See Resources minutes dated 2/12/01. SB 53 - See Labor and Commerce minutes dated 02/08/01. ACTION NARRATIVE TAPE 01-2, SIDE A Number 001 CHAIRMAN DRUE PEARCE called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order at 11:00 a.m. Present were Senators Phillips, Therriault, Ellis and Pearce. Senator Cowdery was excused for medical reasons. The first order of business to come before the committee was SJR 7. SENATOR THERRIAULT moved to calendar SJR 7-REINSTATE WILDERNESS STUDY PROHIBITION with its zero fiscal note. There being no objection, the motion carried. SENATOR PHILLIPS moved to calendar SB 53-EXTENDING THE BD. OF BARBERS/HAIRDRESSERS. There being no objection, the motion carried. There being no further business to come before the committee, CHAIR PEARCE adjourned the meeting at 11:02 a.m.
